Burdigalian ichnofabric from the Guri Member, Dezful Embayment, southwestern Iran

The carbonate strata of the Burdigalian Guri Member are located in Dezful Embayment along northern Persian Gulf shore. Ichnofabric analysis and paleoecology described by investigating three outcrop sections. facies features show a very shallow marine environment with high oxidation content. contains remarkably well-preserved specimens Thalassinoides suevicus. It is mainly recorded as Y T forms water facies. Two ichnofabrics were recognized dominantly sedimentary succession. Ichnofabrics A, B interpreted representing tidal flat lagoon environments respectively. interpretation Miankuh section might be simply indicating more time to colonization relation Parsi section.
